Privacy policy

Effective September 1, 2026. This policy covers the website gainsolutions.io. How we handle client data during an engagement is described on the security page and in each client agreement.

Who we are

GainSolutions LLC (“GainSolutions”, “we”), operated from Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. Questions about this policy or your information: hello@gainsolutions.io.

What we collect, and how

Information you give us

When you use the contact form or book a call, we collect what you enter: your name, work email address, company website, what you would like help with, which service you are leaning toward, and, if you answer it, when you want it running. If you email us, we keep the email.

Booking

The calendar on the booking page is provided by a third-party scheduling service embedded on our site. Information you enter there is processed by that service under its own privacy policy as well as this one. We receive the booking details and your answers to the booking questions.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited. It is cookieless: it does not set cookies, does not use persistent identifiers, and does not track you across other websites. We see aggregated counts such as page views, referring site, country, browser, and device type. We do not see who you are.

Server logs

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, requested page, browser type, timestamp) for security and reliability. These are retained for a short period and are not used to identify or profile visitors.

What we do not collect

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party behavioral tracking. We do not buy data about visitors. The website is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

How we use it

To reply to you, schedule a call, and prepare for it.
To send a proposal if you ask for one.
To keep the site working and understand, in aggregate, how it is used.
To comply with law and protect against misuse.

We do not send marketing email unless you have asked for it, and any such email will include a working unsubscribe link. Submitting a form is not a marketing opt-in.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and respond to you, and only as needed for that purpose: our hosting and analytics provider (Vercel), our email provider (Google Workspace), a private team-messaging channel that receives a copy of form submissions (Slack), and the scheduling service on the booking page. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights or safety.

How long we keep it

Inquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the length of the relationship and any period required for records. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time.

Your choices and rights

Email hello@gainsolutions.io to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We respond to every request, whether or not a particular law requires it. We will verify that the request comes from you before acting on it.

California residents

In line with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA): this policy lists the categories of personally identifiable information we collect (name, email address, company website, and the content of your message) and the third parties we may share it with (listed above). You may review and request changes to your information by emailing us. We do not track visitors across third-party websites over time, and we do not use cookies for that purpose; because of that, the site does not change its behavior in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals. We do not permit third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your activity on this site for their own purposes. Changes to this policy are posted on this page with a new effective date.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections, access limited to the founder, and multi-factor authentication on the accounts involved. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.

Links to other sites

The site links to third parties, including pricing and policy pages of the providers we use. Their privacy practices are their own.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. Material changes to how we use information you have already given us will be communicated by email where we have your address.
